For La Matinèe brunch y milonguita in Milan, we have chosen a Milanese jazz club located in a former garage. The atmosphere is informal yet refined—more like a private loft than a typical venue. As a matter of fact, we feel like at home here: a vaulted roof with a large skylight, on stage, a grand red curtain decorates a piano, plus plenty of plants… Converted from an old garage, it has been lovingly renovated, creating a space that feels both intimate and informal, lively yet sophisticated at the very same time. An ideal gathering for those who love sharing, both at the table and on the dance floor.
Since 2015, the La Matinèe formula has been an immediate success: at Garage Moulinski, we inaugurated the space in 2018. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had found the right place – and I was right!
An ideal space in the heart of Milan, perfect for our idea of Sunday Brunch y Milonguita: meeting up before lunch, then eating something together and dancing, dancing, dancing from lunch until aperitivo time, following the sun from the skylights until sunset…
With the formula we have created, guests are free to enjoy this Sunday event in their own way -whether they’re having lunch with friends, sampling a sweet treat with a good cup of tea, sipping a drink at the table, or enjoying a cocktail at “la barra”, the American-style bar. We hadn’t yet come across milonga events and milongueri of this kind, in the city, and we are thrilled to have enriched the range of tango Milanese offerings.
At the console, a renowned milonguero musicalizador DJ selects our tango tracks, setting the tone for our shared moments, while a skilled chef in the kitchen prepares our communal meals, and a dedicated team provides excellent service in both the dining area and the American bar. At the milonga – just as it occurs at all our events – a big thank you to our guests, as always – the atmosphere is filled with vibrant energy and plenty of good vibes!
For an exclusive Sunday milonguera, all the ingredients are there – just season it with our smiles and a good tango will be served!
