…we were already there!
Laughter and excitement over coffee cups: “One full toast, two berry pastries and a cream puff.”
Three women at the bar, three stories to tell, so much Tango already lived, and so much still ahead.
My notebooks, the ever-present lists, the first printouts, travel notes. Pens, pencil, eraser.
Monica’s highlighters already moving through the countless pages of her texts. They flowed, circles and lines appearing, bringing color to everything…
Claudia was lining up her travel journals beside her, spreading a box of post-its across the center of the table.
“Now it’s official, we have a studio.”
Right on the street, behind a corner window — the sounds and colors of the city like a living painting…
So, where are we going?
Exactly.
So many times in Buenos Aires — and every time the city has cast its spell on me. Nights in the milongas, endless surprises… Each time so familiar, and yet wonderfully new.
And there, and here, the desire to share…
Because every journey is desire, discovery — and home, when you feel the world belongs to you too.
“To you too,” exactly. The girls said yes, with enthusiasm. And there is something deeply joyful in the word ‘together’.
For a lifetime, the words of a wise man have stayed with me: “Life is woven from the people we meet.”
So, where are we going?
Exactly.
This time, together.
“Tres medialunas y café con leche, por favor.”
We set off for Buenos Aires!Imagine… the blue of Buenos Aires skies, the crisp August air, the vivid colors of a city that never sleeps, traffic lights, black-and-yellow taxis…
… and slowly, as we shape it, it begins to reveal itself — in three movements, like the three tandas reinas that define a milonga.
We are discovering three different ways of experiencing it, three distinct yet essential rhythms. Like three chapters of a story.
Everyone will recognize their own…
There’s no need to live them all – one chapter, two… or perhaps all three.
This is how we continue to build it.
And along the way, we’ll begin to meet those who are already part of it.
(more details coming soon)
Abrazos
P.S. It’s ok, completely normal, don’t worry, it’s happening to us too.
You’re already thinking about your shoes. And you should be. Because, when night falls…
“Bailen todos, compañeros,
porque el baile es un abrazo”.
